Winemaking & Style:
First released in 1983, Magill Estate Shiraz is crafted in a traditional, hands-on manner at the original 1844 Penfolds winery: hand-picked, fermented in open fermenters, and basket pressed. It is matured in both French and American oak to achieve a sleek, contemporary character with an old-world soul.

Aromatics:
The nose is strikingly expressive, marrying lush plum and blackberry with savoury hints of spiced sausage and terrine. Notes of chargrilled meats, roasted coffee, and chocolate deepen the bouquet, reflecting the wine’s unique small-batch, estate-driven production.
